NOTE: I originally entered this file anonymously in 2007 to Sakura_Guy's Best Sim Author contest, round 2. Below is the original readme that was included at that time.

v-u-den - Aisu Kuriimu to My Purin

From: Aisu Kuriimu to My Purin (single)
Length: 1:27
BPM: 126
Created For: Best Simfile Author, Round 2

This step file includes BEGINNER (1 foot), BASIC (3 feet), TRICK (6 feet) and MANIAC (8 feet) difficulties, as well as lyrics, a background video and video banner. Steps begin easy but bring in some advanced chaos and crossovers at MANIAC level, although the low step count and relatively easy middle keep the difficulty from rising above 8 feet. While MANIAC does not necessarily follow every element of the music exactly (e.g. the four 16ths in a row), the steps have instead been designed for maximum fun.

The movie perhaps pushes the boundaries of good taste, but it is the song's music video. There was not much else to use. The graphics (background and still banner) are taken from the beginning of the video, with text edited from the DVD title card (also used on the video banner). The artist text was created specifically for this file and is not from any prior promotional materials.

A note on the artist: v-u-den is a three-girl Hello! Project group consisting of Rika Ishikawa (leader), Erika Miyoshi and Yui Okada. Their name is written in kanji as E` and typically pronounced out loud like "biyuuden". However, the most commonly used romanisation (including on official materials) is "v-u-den", although others are also used from time to time. Why? You'd have to ask Tsunku.

A note on the song: Aisu Kuriimu to My Purin is the most recent v-u-den single, released on the 22nd November 2006. (Their next upcoming single, "Koisuru Angel Heart", is due on the 23rd May 2007.) The name "Aisu Kuriimu to My Purin" is a pun of sorts, as "aisu kuriimu" is typically written entirely in katakana to mean "ice cream" - however in this case, the kanji for "love" (which is usually pronounced "ai") is used to write the "ai" in "aisu", giving the word a double meaning. "Aisu Kuriimu" is meant to rhyme in similar meter to "My Purin" ('my pudding') and it is also worth noting that the "to" in this case is the Japanese "to" meaning "and" - not the English "to".

As Project Hello is currently down, the lyrics this time were taken from here:

The lyrics shown during gameplay are color-coded. Rika Ishikawa's lines are yellow, Erika Miyoshi's are green and Yui Okada's are magenta. Any lines that are sung by any combination of the girls will appear in white.

Thank you for playing.
